2.1. Standard product Terms and conditions apply to the use of the Pass. 

2.2. Interrail B.V. will not provide any insurance for the winner. Interrail B.V. and its partners will not assume nor accept any liability in the event of an injury or loss or damage to property of the winner. 

2.3. The winner is advised to arrange medical insurance valid in all countries in which their travel will take place prior of commencement of their travels. 

2.4. The winner is advised to arrange travel insurance valid in all countries in which their travel will take place prior of commencement of their travels. 

2.5. Health instructions/ COVID-19 

2.5.1. The winner guarantees to follow all rules and regulations set forth by countries when travelling. 

2.5.2. The winner will be responsible to check all requirements for travelling to the countries on their itinerary. Interrail B.V. will not provide advice nor guidance on compliance on regulations set forth by countries visited by the winner.  

2.5.3. All costs incurred to ensure compliance to regulations (e.g. PCR testing) are for the expense of the winner. 

2.5.4. Interrail B.V. will not assume or accept liability for any direct or indirect costs incurred by the winner due to travel restrictions in certain countries nor in case of repatriation. 

2.6. The winner is responsible for all taxes, costs and other expenses that are not explicitly included in or connected to the Prize (including, but not limited to, costs for visa application and seat train reservations), and agrees that upon accepting the Prize he does so entirely at their own risk and responsibility.  

3.1. Interrail B.V. is not responsible for: 

3.1.1. providing transport services outside the reach of the Pass. 

3.1.2. any technical issues or damages in relation to the participation in the Prize Draw, as well as claims and damages, relating to and resulting from the undertaken trip. 

3.1.3. inability to travel due to invalid personal identification document 

3.1.4. any problems with the network, computer hardware or software, or any breakdown or failure that results in the participant's entry to be not received, incomplete or damaged.  

3.2. Interrail B.V. reserves the right to disqualify participants without providing notice or having to provide a reason, in case of suspicion of fraud or misconduct. 

3.3. Interrail B.V. reserves the right to disqualify an entry without providing notice or having to provide a reason in case the participant breaches the rules of these Terms and Conditions or law. 

3.4. Interrail B.V. has the right to reject entries that do not meet these Terms and Conditions. 

3.5. Interrail B.V. reserves the right to end or amend the Prize Draw Prizes, definitions and any other information, or to cancel this Prize Draw at any time without prior notice. 

3.6: Interrail B.V. reserves the right to request written proof of a possible winner’s residence and age before awarding a prize. 

4.1. Interrail B.V. respects the privacy of participants. When entering a Prize Draw, your name and surname is used for prize selection, and if you are selected as a winner then you are asked to also share your date of birth, email address, and shipping address to provide you with information to collect your prize.

4.2 Processing activities of your personal data related to participation in a Prize Draw is based on explicit consent to these terms and conditions provided during the participation form submission. We shall ensure that all personal information is provided to us in accordance with the Dutch Data Protection law.

4.3 The personal information is stored for 12 months after the information is collected to enable you to use your prize.  You can request removal of your data at any time. For more information on your rights as a data subject see our privacy policy. 

4.4 Interrail B.V.'s privacy policy conditions are applicable to the use of any Interrail products won during the Prize Draw and is available on our Privacy and Cookie Statement page.

5.1. Interrail B.V. acts in accordance with the Dutch Code Promotional Gaming 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014). 

5.2. Complaints about this Prize Draw can be sent to Interrail B.V. PO Box 2338, 3500 GH, Utrecht, The Netherlands or to complaints@eurail.com. 

5.3. Any disputes, controversies between you and Interrail B.V. arising out of or in connection to the Prize Draw, the terms and conditions and the privacy statement shall, at first, be subject to an amicable resolution process. 

5.4. Where, pursuant to the previous paragraph, an amicable resolution proves unfruitful or impossible, the conflict will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Midden-Nederland (situated in Utrecht the Netherlands). The governing law will be Dutch Law. 

1.1. To participate in the Prize Draw you need to subscribe to the Eurail/Interrail newsletter, accept the Terms and Conditions and select to enter the Prize Draw. The subscription to the newsletter will require you to share your email address, first name and last name. You can unsubscribe at any time using the personalised link in any Eurail newsletter email received.

1.2. Only one entry is allowed per specific email address.

1.3. The Prize Draw is open for participation on a monthly basis. A month starts on the first day of the month at 00:01 CET (local Dutch time) and ending on the last day of said month at 23:59 CET (local Dutch time). The actual draw and selection of the winner will take place in the month following the participation month. 

1.4. Participation in the Prize Draw is free of charge and is not dependent on previous purchases of Eurail products. Any costs made by the participant to participate, for example, but not limited to, Internet connection costs, will not be reimbursed by Eurail B.V.

2.1. Eurail B.V. will create a randomised draw for the winner of the Newsletter Prize Draw.  

2.2. The draw and awarding will take place on the first week of the month, awarding the prize to one of the previous month Newsletter subscribers. 

2.3. The results of the Prize Draw will be announced on the Eurail website as well as in the newsletter within three months after the awarding has taken place. 

2.4. Eurail will contact the winner directly and request them to claim their Prize and share the required information by email for Prize processing within 96 hours.

2.5. In case a winner is nonresponsive within 96 hours or does not send the complete information details before the end of that period, an additional draw will be held. All rights of the first-picked winner will expire when the new draw takes place. 

2.6. The winner must complete the booking form with the traveller information within 14 calendar days of receiving the booking form via email.

2.7. The first day of Pass validity of the Prize begins on the day the Prize is sent to the winner via email. The winner has 11 months from the day the Prize was issued via email from Eurail B.V to activate the Prize.  

2.8. The Prize will be processed and delivered to the customer within 21 calendar days of receiving the correctly completed booking form.  

2.9. The winner can determine if they would like to use their Prize(s) for themself. If the winner receives more than one Prize, they can opt to use both or to give one to a travel companion.  

2.10. All decisions made by Eurail B.V. regarding this Prize Draw shall be considered final; no correspondence will be entered into about the prizes and how they were awarded. 

3.1. Each prize consists of a set number of Interrail Global Passes (valid for 7 travel days in 1 month, 1st class), which are valid for 11 months from the time of booking. The maximum economic value per Pass is at the price of the pass at the time of the Prize Draw.

3.2. If applicable, the winner shall be responsible to obtain travel documentation, such as a visa. 

3.3. The winner is responsible for all taxes, costs and other expenses that are not explicitly included in or connected to the Prize, and agrees that upon accepting the Prize that the winner does so entirely at the winner’s own risk and responsibility. Costs made by the participant to participate, for example, but not limited to, accommodation costs, additional travel costs, Internet connection costs, will not be reimbursed. 

3.4. The winner is responsible for additional reservations that may be needed in some countries or trains. 

3.5. The Prize is delivered in the form of a mobile Pass. The Prize cannot be exchanged for a paper Pass. 

3.6. The Prize validity ends 11 months from the date of issue. It cannot be extended or re-issued due to inability to use it within the period of time. If the Prize is not used within the 11 months, it will no longer be valid. 

3.7. The Prize cannot be exchanged for another prize from Eurail B.V. (ie. 7 days within 1 month exchanged for 10 days within 1 month). 

3.8. The Prize cannot be downgraded from 1st class to 2nd class. 

3.9. This Prize is not redeemable for cash.

1.2. Employees of Interrail B.V. and associated companies, as well as members of their families, are excluded from participation in the Prize Draw.

1.3 There will be no communication costs in relation to your entry of the Prize Draw. This excludes your own costs of communication related to an internet subscription.

1.4. Upon entry of the Prize Draw. the participant guarantees to have entered the information accurately, truthfully, up-to-date and in full.

1.5. A participant can enter as many times as they would like to enter by following the instructions on the social post; however, each participant may only win one Prize per Prize Draw. The comment listed on the entry is considered to be the unique participant number for the Prize Draw in this Prize Draw.

1.6. The Prize Draw commences on provided date on the social post and ends on date provided on the social post (hereinafter: the 'Term of Prize Draw.’). After the end date, the participant is not allowed to enter the Prize Draw.
